More INfo About Their Diet
The first thing most people think of when someones says "Panda!" is how adorably cute they are! Yes, they are cute, but you do NOT want to mess around with them! Believe it, or not, pandas can be very tough. They have stong jaws, used for crushing bamboo.
Speaking of bamboo, pandas can eat up to 26-84 POUNDS of bamboo a day! I mean, that's a lot of bamboo, because us humans only eat about 4 pounds a day.

Why Do They Matter?
Now, I bet you are wondering,"Well, I know so much about pandas, but why do they matter?" Well, I am glad you asked! Here are a few points WHY they matter:
-
Pandas help control the growth in the bamboo forests so there isn't too much of the bamboo.
-
Pandas also help spread the growth of bamboo throughout the vegetation.
-
Many other endangered species, rely on the pandas. Because those endangered species need the bamboo forests to live, the pandas really need them! So if you help the pandas, you are really helping multiple animals!
